Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limit 24
Explore the work of a formerly enslaved woman, Harriet Powers, from Clarke County, whose exquisite illustrative quilts hang in the Smithsonian and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Participants will hand-stitch a quilt square that will be part of a quilt top sold at the conference's art auction and take home materials for another square. They will also take home lesson plans about Power's quilts for K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade levels.
