This workshop asks teachers to consider social media images as works of art and, in turn, teach students visual literacy and digital art-making strategies to help them think critically about what they see online and think like an artist before they post. In this workshop, participants will experience chair yoga and mindful drawing or mark-making mindful breathing that we experience in creative flow and the natural meditative practice we experience when we are creating. Opening up a more intentional practice and focusing on deeper listening to our inner creative voice.
